This update is going to be short, despite the fact that I missed weeks 6, 7 and 8—and here we are in week 9.
A couple of weeks ago, I hit my forehead pretty hard, and I’m still experiencing some mild concussion symptoms, probably owing to the fact that I had one a few years back. Some days are relatively okay, others less so, but the overall brain fog, mood swings and eye strain have left me pretty much unable to write for the time being.
I’m taking things slowly right now and focusing on getting better. Hopefully, I can still maintain the weekly updates from now on, just for accountability’s sake, but also it might happen that I just come back to it when I’m feeling better again. Maybe even restart the challenge, or just pick up where I left off. Everything is up in the air right now.
I’m super bummed that this happened, but the only thing I can do now is learn my lessons and take better care of myself. Which probably starts with getting off the computer for the day and letting my eyes rest.
