Jane Scrivens is a romantasy author, corset sewing enthusiast, and lifelong metalhead. The first time she read Lord of the Rings and Realm of the Elderlings, her fate as a writer was sealed.

She writes introspective fantasy romance set in an immersive secondary world, with heroines who strive and heroes who yearn. The highest ideals in her books are honor, fellowship, hope, and love, though they’re sometimes attained at a great cost.

Her family often joke that Jane has enough creative interests to sustain her for three lifetimes and that somehow her hobbies always involve developing wrist and back pain. In rare moments of spare time, Jane dreams of owning a house big enough for all the rescues she would take home, and, when she’s feeling extra ambitious, of changing the world for the better.
